Okay, I know I get excited about a lot of recipes, merely yous guys! These are healthy, succulent, fudgy brownies – with but 130 calories each, and no flour, oil, or refined sugar! AND, no beans or weird veggies!

There'southward null wrong with adding veggies or fifty-fifty beans to your food, but I just could never get past the black bean in brownies affair. Dessert is supposed to be dessert. And, these brownies are just that!

Sweet and delicious, but without even having to crook! Run across…I told you they were exciting! 🙂

Night Chocolate Brownies

  • ½ cup almond butter (or creamy natural peanut butter)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • three tablespoons unrefined kokosnoot carbohydrate
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ loving cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 1 big egg
  • ¼ cup + ane tablespoon oat flour (oats that have been footing)
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon blistering soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • ½ loving cup + ¼ cup nighttime chocolate chips
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line an 8x8 inch blistering pan with parchment newspaper. Don't skip this step, or the brownies will be super hard to become out of the pan. Plus, with the parchment newspaper, you can just lift them right out and not have to clean the pan! 🙂
  2. Grind your oats in a blender or nutrient processor (I use and dearest my Blendtec). Remember to mensurate the oat flour subsequently grinding the oats.
  3. In a big bowl, beat out together the almond butter, dearest, coconut carbohydrate, and vanilla.
  4. Mix in the absurdity until combined, and then beat in the egg until just combined.
  5. In a carve up bowl, stir together the oat flour, cocoa pulverization, baking soda, blistering powder, and salt.
  6. Using a wooden spoon or spatula, gently mix the wet and dry ingredients together until just combined. Do non over-stir.
  7. Fold in ½ cup of the dark chocolate chips and then transfer the mixture into the lined 8x8 baking pan. Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup dark chocolate chips over the mixture.
  8. Bake for 20-22 minutes or until light and puffy. If you nether-bake just a little they will exist softer and more chewy.
  9. Cut into xvi (2 inch) squares. Enjoy guilt gratis!

Getting a powerful blender is definitely an investment, but I apply mine at least once a day and I beloved knowing that the 7 year warranty is there. I really burned the motor out on my commencement one and they replaced it no questions asked. I use mine for the usual smoothies and batters, only I also love it for grinding wheat into flour and of course making homemade ice cream and frozen yogurt! You lot tin go 1 new at Costco or on Amazon for around $350, or you lot can get one refurbished with the original warranty for $280 from Blendtec right HERE.
